The social commitment of La Costeña® motivated, in 2006, the construction of Villa San José in Guasave, where farm workers and their families are accommodated and come to work at the company's plant, from different parts of Mexico, because Sinaloa is one of the states with greater agricultural activity, and the demand for labor of the companies in the sector is very high.

Villa San José is a safe and dignified place, where 950 workers and their families currently live and harvest the products that the company processes, and where more than 900 temporary jobs are generated per year, with a production of 120 million cans.
